Technology: Midjourney
Midjourney is a unique and innovative research lab pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI technology. Their focus on exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species is fascinating.
One of the ways that Midjourney is achieving this goal is through the development of the Midjourney Bot. This powerful AI tool can generate truly unique images and is thought-provoking. Using this tool, users can tap into the creative potential of AI and create images that may not be possible through traditional means.
In addition to the Midjourney Bot, the lab also offers a web app at https://www.midjourney.com/ where users can find a gallery of their own work and other users' creations. This allows users to share their creations with others and see the incredible range of possibilities that the Midjourney Bot is capable of.
I recently used the Midjourney Bot to create a logo for 808Leadership, a brand I am currently developing that provides value added content in the areas of education, leadership, AI, technology, personal development, and food…all things I love to learn and grow from.
The process was simple, I just fed the bot with a few keywords related to the brand, and let the bot generate a selection of images. To my surprise, the bot generated a variety of images that were not only visually appealing but also captured the essence of the company's initial ethos.
The images generated by the bot served as a great starting point for my logo design. I am still working on the final design, but I am much further ahead with this AI tool. The result will be a logo that is not only visually stunning but also effective in conveying the brand's message. Midjourney Bot is a powerful tool that can be used in various ways with limitless potential.
Personal Growth and Development: Developing a Growth Mindset
In the High-Performance Habit Courage Module, practice number one focuses on developing a growth mindset. This means recognizing that challenges and obstacles are opportunities for growth and learning rather than sources of frustration and defeat. Here are three things you can do to honor the struggle and develop a growth mindset:
Let go of frustration: It's natural to feel frustrated when things don't go as planned, but dwelling on frustration will only hold you back. Instead, try to view challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. Letting go of frustration can be difficult, but it's essential for developing a growth mindset.
No more complaining: Complaining is a form of resistance and will only hold you back from achieving your goals. Instead, try to focus on solutions and take action to make progress.
Assume you are being prepared: Every challenge you face is an opportunity for growth and development. Assume that your struggles are preparing you for something greater in the future. Embrace the challenge and use it as a learning opportunity to become stronger and better prepared for what lies ahead.
By embracing challenges and using them as opportunities for growth and development, you can honor the struggle and pave the way for greater success and fulfillment. If you're looking to develop your growth mindset further and improve your overall performance, I invite you to check out the Growth Day App and take the High-Performance Habit Builder Course. The course is designed to help you build the habits and mindset needed to achieve your goals and reach your full potential. I am finding it valuable in helping me develop as a leader.

Question to Ponder
This week's question I got from the James Clear 3-2-1 Thursday email that I subscribe.
"Are the results I am expecting aligned with the habits I am following each day?"
I thought it was a great one to think about as we head into the new week.
Recipe to Try
ChatGPT recommended this, so we will give it a try and see how my three boys like it:
Ingredients:
4 cups vegetable oil, for frying
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Instructions:
Heat the oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
In a separate shallow dish, whisk together the buttermilk and egg.
Dip each chicken breast in the buttermilk mixture, then coat in the flour mixture.
Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Drain the fried chicken on a paper towel-lined plate, and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
